Filmmaker Labs

Hands-on mentorship from script to sustainable release. We walk with you through your actual film, building the skills you'll use for every project you make.

How it Works

All labs begin at your script. Through weekly one-on-one sessions, we mentor you through every stage of filmmaking—from development and production to post-production, distribution, and building sustainable revenue. You make your film, we walk alongside you with expert guidance at each step.

Think of it like an MFA program for independent filmmaking: your film is your thesis, we're your faculty advisors, and you graduate with both a completed film and the skills to sustain a creative career.

Duration is determined together based on your project's scope, budget, and timeline through our application process.

Is This Right For You?

✅ You have a script or film in development

✅ You're committed to learning, not just delegating

✅ You want to own your marketing strategy

✅ You're ready for honest feedback and real work

✅ You believe in building skills, not shortcuts

❌ You want us to do your marketing for you

❌ You're not ready to show up weekly

❌ You just want a quick festival submission strategy

❌ You're not open to feedback

We're selective. We work with filmmakers we believe in, on projects that matter. Our three-interview process ensures mutual fit.

Ready to Apply?

Our application process includes three interviews where we get to know you, your project, and your goals. We assess your film's scope and recommend the right lab duration. If we're a good fit, we'll walk together from your script to sustainable release.

Timeline: ~3-4 weeks from application to lab start

Labs open: January 2026
